• Appointed as a Higher Specialty Registrar in Emergency Medicine at University Hospital Southampton, a major trauma centre and academic teaching hospital. My role encompasses a wide range of clinical, supervisory, and service development responsibilities in a high-pressure, multidisciplinary environment. Key achievements and responsibilities include:
• Independently managing the full spectrum of emergency presentations, including major trauma, resuscitation cases, and paediatric emergencies.
• Leading trauma calls and resus room care as the senior decision-maker, coordinating input from surgical, anaesthetic, and critical care teams.
• Supervising junior doctors, ANPs, ACPs and medical students, providing bedside teaching and formal education sessions.
• Participating in clinical governance activities including significant event reviews, audits, and morbidity & mortality meetings.
• Engaging in academic teaching and CPD activities as part of the Emergency Medicine training programme.

• Provide direct clinical care to all patients presenting to the emergency department, including major trauma patients, pediatrics emergency, resuscitation bay, and minor injuries.
• Ensure proper assessments of patients formulating management plan supervising junior doctors’ appropriate onward referral all discharge, ensuring safety and continuity of care.

• Evaluated preliminary reports and test results to determine and implement optimal patient care plans.
• Suggested diagnostic and laboratory tests to establish underlying causes for infectious diseases and common medical problems.
• Assessed patient conditions and responses to stimuli with standardized evaluations and tests.
