- Interned as an exploration geologist for the months of May to August on the Golden Sky Project located within the Mishibishu Greenstone Belt
- Conducted extensive field work which included assessing the various lithologies on the property and gathering samples that were later used for geochemical analysis to determine gold content
- Occasionally assisted in logging drill core within the core shack
