My name Isatu and I'm a passionate and dedicated early years practitioner with over fours years experience working in a childcare setting. I currently work in a nursery where I support children aged 3 months to 5 years in their development, learning and daily routines. I take pride in creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to explore at their own pace.
In my role, I assist with planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, support emotional and social development, and work closely with parents and carers to ensure continuity between home and nursery. I'm also responsible for observing and tracking children's progress in line with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.
One of my unique skills is my strong ability to connect with children on an individual level. I'm especially skilled at supporting children who may be shy or have additional needs, helping them feel included and confident in group settings. I also bring creativity into my work whether its through storytelling, messy play, or setting up engaging learning environments. My calm and patient nature helps me manage challenging behaviour effectively, while still maintaining a positive and nurturing approach.
