Whilst taking part in my work experience with progress, I was paired with an experienced clerk of works. I spent the week visiting many different building sites learning and improving skills like communication, listening, team building and organisation. I gained an inside knowledge of what happens from start to finish when building a house. I also learned how to effectively work in a team and how to ensure all ideas are heard and taken into consideration.

During this week of online work experience with BAE I was challenged to create my own drone, this challenge allowed me to use my creative ideas in ways that I hadn't explored yet. I also had to ensure that my idea worked and that all the different parts worked well together and performed the way that they should to meet the brief. I really enjoyed being able to use my ideas in a way that I had never used them before and I enjoyed the challenge of creating something that I didn't think I ever would.
