Creative Media Production graduate with hands-on experience in social media content, audience engagement and visual storytelling. I am skilled in filming, editing and managing promotional content, with strong communication abilities developed through admin and customer facing roles. I am adaptable, organised and people focused. I bring a mix of creativity and real customer insights that aligns well with the marketing work at Family Funds.
During my three years working towards my Bachlors degree in Media Production I have learnt many skills and have been giving the opportunity to develop these into my solo projects or projects with others.
I have worked on many productions and led short films and documentary style videos that I used as a way to strengthen my concept development, scripting, filming and editing. I consistently produced first class work while following a content creation process that closely reflects how marketing teams plan, produce and refine campaigns.
I developed compelling visual narratives to hold the attention and emotion of the viewer by making sure I understoof the targeted demographic and selecting messages to convey to the audience.
I got a lot of peer feedback and reponses from test screening which I used to refine my editing choices and improve my projects to keep the viewers retention.
I love to collaborate with others as I believe projects with many creative minds leads to a successful production whilst also helping to meet strict deadlines, manage the shared workloads and maintain consistency in the group.
I have used many different media software sights like Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, Capcut and After Effects, which really helped me to work on my editing skills which I have been doing since High School to ensuring that the visuals for each project are recognisable.
I like to be prepared and planned for upcoming projects throughout my time at university including scheduling shoots, organising resources, communicating with both the cast and the crew and problem solving on the set when I need to adapt quickly.
I presented many final projects to my lecturers and classmates which helped me to practice confident communication and explain my creative process and decisions in a clear, friendly way.
I maintained a very professional workflow using file organisation and digital asset management which I believe are valuable skills in content heavy marketing environments.
Here, I built positive customer relationships by providing friendly and personalised services and rememered regular customers' preferences.
I adapted different communication style to suit different customer needs, ensuring everyone felt welcomed and supported.
I handled enquiries, requests and complaints calmly and professionally resolving issues and maintaining the customer satisfaction.
I filmed, edited and posted all the promotional videos and images for this business, creating high quality visual content for the brands audeince that showcased the treatments and work that is done.
I managed the full social media posting process which included planning content themes, writing captions and scheduling posts to maximise engagement and visibility.
I maintained a consistent brand style. I liked to ensure that all the video edits and colour reflected the clinic's aesthetic identity and appealed to it's targer audience.
I also improved engagement through creative content with before and after tranformations, treatments that the clinic does and behind the scenes footage.
I used the basic analytic tools to follow the likes, comments and saves indentifying which content types performed best and changed my strategy accordingly.
Whilst I worked at this GP Surgery, I handled patients and communicated with others daily.
I handled a high volume of patient enquiries over the phone, communicating clearly and professionally to provide information, answer questions and direct patients to the right services they needed.
I rang many patients to schedule flu and COVID vaccination appointments where I explained eligibility and appointment details whilst addressing concerns with the patients.
I managed confidential patient data with precision, updating records and checking information for errors or inconsistencies.
I supported efficient practice operations by carrying out administrative tasks such as printing prescriptions, updating patient notes and assisting reception staff during busy periods.
I resolved issues independently, such as appointment clashes, missing information or unclear requests using my initiative and professional judgment.
I provided a friendly and approachable point of contact for all patients, helping them feel supported and informed. These communication strengths can easily transfer directly into marketing roles.
