Isabella Joddrell

I started to volunteer at Lane ends as a way to gain more in classroom experience after leaving college. Whilst there I have learnt so much about myself and teaching in general. Through this position I worked with a large array of children, more specifically children with SEN needs. I would often substitute in for other 1:1 teachers when they were ill, this gave me lots of experience with the responsibilities of a 1:1. I feel as though me having my own differences/ difficulties allows me to understand children on a deeper level especially children who need extra care and help.
