I am a hardworking and determined person which I apply to every challenge and task I face. I am a highly motivated and always work to the best of my ability, as well as grasping every opportunity I am given. I am punctual and well organised and have a positive outlook on life. I have been brought up to have strong family values, manners, and respect for others. Whilst growing up I have been fortunate enough to travel a lot with my family, in doing this it has enabled me to communicate and meet many different people from different backgrounds. I am a friendly person who gets along with everyone of all ages and backgrounds. When under stressful situations I handle them well and keep a calm head to get the task in hand completed to the best of my ability and maintain my focus throughout. I am very happy in my current employment, and I am only seeking new opportunities having been made at ‘risk of redundancy’ due to current work moving overseas.

Integrated Logistics Operations Specialist

Kuehne and Nagel
01.2024 - Current
  • In my current role at Kuehne and Nagel I oversee all day-to-day operations to various countries for the sea freight side of the contract.
  • This involves me working with high level software and systems for example Skylog from a schedule to create orders for specific areas across the business to comply to this schedule.
  • As well as handling the operation from a higher level, I also communicate with the various teams in those countries to ensure that all orders are correct with no surplus stock being held.
  • I attend weekly Teams meetings with the freight forwarding and warehouse teams to ensure that collections are made on time to meet the requirements of the schedule and ensure there are no delays.
  • I provide solutions for any issues raised.
  • I am responsible for overseeing the stock orders in another area of the business and being the point of contact for this team for any issues. This role has helped develop my communication skills and team work to ensure deadlines are achieved.

Integrated Logistics Apprentice- Haleon

  • In my role at Kuehne and Nagel as an Integrated Logistics Apprentice, I would oversee all day-to-day operations on a top-level basis.
  • This involved me working with high level software and systems for example OTM to book vehicles in for collections and deliveries to various locations.
  • As well as handling the operation from a higher level, I worked on the billing side of the operation so taking in invoices from our suppliers and processing them for payment.
  • In this role I worked with colleagues from all over the world in locations such as Delhi.
  • This helped me to develop my communication skills and team work as well as overcome language barriers with my colleagues in different countries.
  • Some key examples of this role:
  • Managing the relationship with the Logistics Service Provider (LSP), providing routine updates through reporting and calls; maintaining regular communication.
  • Manage invoice audit results, process invoices through the system and deal with invoices that fail the audit.
  • Liaising and collaborating with internal IT teams for IT-related issues.

  • 01/01/11, Part of the local cricket team for 6 years, leading to trials with Warwickshire County cricket club for the Lady's section.
  • 01/07/22, Received training in using high profile systems and different software during my first month as an Apprentice at Kuehne and Nagel.
  • 05/01/23, Nominated for the 'KN Colleague Award' and won the award for 'Apprentice of the Year 2023'.
  • 09/01/23, Trained a new Graduate in company processes and team operations.
  • 01/01/22, Held weekly care huddles at Kuehne and Nagel, discussing hot topics and creating presentations.
