Isaac Florkowski

I am a hardworking and enthusiastic high school student seeking an Engineering apprenticeship. I am currently studying for my GCSE'S and due to leave school in May 2026.

I have a strong interest in engineering and hands-on work. During the school holidays I have gained practical work experience as a labourer for a patio and landscaping company, working in all weather conditions to meet deadlines and following health and safety procedures.

I am highly sporty and disciplined with seven years experience playing for the same grassroots football team. This showing commitment, resilience and the ability of being able to work effectively in a team.

I have been involved in coaching and supporting younger players in football clubs. This experience has enabled me to develop excellent communication skills to help provide children with clear instructions, whilst supporting and encouraging those with different abilities and confidence levels.

I am also a member of Lancaster and Morecambe Athletics club and regularly represent the school in different sporting events. This has enabled me to develop good time management skills, in balancing training, competitions and school work, I have been self motivated in setting goals and pushing myself to achieve personal bests.

I am keen to develop technical skills through an engineering apprenticeship and willing to learn how to apply these to a real working environment.
