Isaac Denton

In this current role, I am responsible for completing large fleet van builds based on our vast range of commercial company orders. This can vary from fitting roof bars, to complete interior revamps with flooring, racking, and other modifications. I am responsible for myself and my own work with the aid of my own equipment and company supplied materials and accessories. I am experienced operating a variety of power tools and manual equipment with proficiency, maintaining a safe work environment. With each job I take on, I must ensure all parts of the vehcile leave our warehouse without a single mark and being able to restore and fix any damage that may have occured. In depth checks are required to maintain the high quality standard of my work.

At Screwfix I was responsible for making sure my entire team had all the support and experience they required to make sure the shop performance was up to scratch and meeting targets. Part of the Duty Manager role was ensuring a safe and friendly environment to work in. This includes any maintence across the shop floor, racking and general cleanliness of the facicltiies alogn with being fire marshall, and health and safety trained.

• Oversaw daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure smooth running of the premises.
• Led by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service and encouraging staff to deliver the same high standards.
• Coached and mentored junior staff, developing confidence and competence for improved service delivery.

Liaised with customers to determine their requests, provide recommendations and upsell services. Conducted site visits and quoted on command. Provided one to one customer service as to ensure they had a professional and educated transaction. Working with multiple different suppliers and clients simultaneously ensuring that I am able to obtain any information I need quickly to solve a customers situation.

I joined the picking and packing field at Walker Logistics, then I was later promoted to Team Leader and helped in the managerial side of the business along side the head of operations. I was supervisor for an entire team of my own in a unit holding stock. Within this, I was responsible for stock discrepancies, numbers and KPI's. Later towards the end of my time in the business, I helped Charlie Walker with the promotion and website/instagram side of sales.
