Throughout the last 2 years I have done a total of 18 weeks of placement (over 2 separate placements) During those weeks I:

• Daily planned high quality lessons and activities that were well received by both the staff and children alike
• Passed both placements with glowing reviews "He built great relationships with the children and his empathy towards them made his transition to leading the class smooth."
• Willingly learnt under mentorship and grew in strength and confidence as a result "when given feedback about how to adapt the given planning to make it more relevant, he responded well."
• Worked alongside a wide range of people from different backgrounds and curated a culture of acceptance and inclusivity with those individuals

During my most recent employment as a Teaching Assistant I:

• Built strong and positive working relationships with staff and parents
• Effectively supported children with very high SEND need
• Frequently piloted Excel to collect, corroborate and present data
• Wisely managed time in order to maximise efficiency
• Responded calmly under frequent pressure and unpredictability
• Used problem-solving to minimise risk, whilst boosting productivity

During my time at West Didsbury, I was deeply embedded into the community of the school. Not only was I performing in my role as an LSA, but took on additional responsibilities such as: teaching lessons rather than just supporting them, being an after-school club assistant, monitoring children during break times.

Supported children with high-level SEND needs as 1-1 staff member, fostering positive educational experiences. Received strong recommendations from employer for future roles.
