Accomplishments

Internal Training Completion I have completed a series of internal training courses covering project delivery, risk management, assurance, and leadership.

The PACE Framework training gave me a basic understanding of what PACE is and how it supports controlled and efficient project delivery. It is aimed at those new to PACE and provides a clear overview of the framework.

I also completed a Leadership course focused on taking personal responsibility for creating a respectful workplace culture. The training highlighted how positive behaviours help keep everyone safe and support a healthy working environment.

The Principles of Project Risk Management for Capital Delivery course improved my understanding of key risk management principles and forms part of the project management induction programme.

The SPEED Assurance training explained how assurance should be applied to projects using SPEED concepts, with a focus on reducing delivery time and costs while maintaining proper control.

Finally, the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Pathway introduced the ERM framework and how it supports a consistent and sustainable approach to managing risk across the organisation.

  • I introduced Readiness automation process that helps produce readiness reports smoothly and consistently. The automated process improved departmental efficiency by reducing manual effort, improving data integration, and providing clear RAG status reporting to support better visibility and decision-making.
  • I developed and managed a cost- and volume-loaded P6 programme for E&P projects, improving cost visibility and control. This enabled early identification of high-spend and overspend risk areas. I also produced and issued regular cost and variance reports to the Project Manager, supporting informed decision-making and effective project control.
  • I developed a Possession planning system that enabled Project Managers to better control possession-related costs, including Schedule 4 and non-disruptive costs. The system improved visibility of possession impacts on project delivery, supporting more accurate planning, cost control, and informed decision-making.
  • Migrated legacy cable drawing data into a digital database, supporting engineering teams in fault identification and the installation and linking of TV and internet services.
