Law with German Student versed in Data Governance and Public Compliance. On track to take the SQE 1&2 exams to fully qualify post-graduate as a solicitor. Focused in legal research, document drafting, and case management, and involved in research towards AI in the legal workplace. Enhanced research interests include Space Law and its relations to Public and Public International Law.
Language skills include the study of Linguistics and sociolinguistic change of the West and North Germanic Language Families, including near-native fluency in German and intermediate Dutch, as well as the study of economic and legal change. Additionally aiming to take the German First State Exam to qualify to practice law in Germany, but also assimilate a clear cultural, economic, and legal connection between both Germany and the UK.
Apart from my studies, I am an avid long-distance hiker and climber. I use my language skills to try and translate castle or museum inscriptions, and I love a National Trust Membership, especially in Northumberland where I'm currently based! As a rooted historian, I love to travel and infuse cultures and stories, including a dangerous trip atop the Carpathian Mountains, exploring abandoned houses in the Hills of Scotland, and venturing deep into the heart of the Parisian Catacombs. At home, I am a family orientated person and spend as much time as I can with my brothers and parents, who I'm still pestering for a dog.
