Support the release of incoming raw materials, manufacturing materials and customer-facing products through analytical testing, controlled documentation and compliance with ISO 9001 quality requirements.

Product Compliance & Quality Systems:

• Implement approved specification changes through the Management of Change (MOC) process, ensuring documentation remains accurate and aligned with quality requirements.
• Conduct Out of Specification (OOS) investigations using TrackWise QMS.
• Review supplier Certificates of Analysis and technical specifications alongside New Product Management to support supplier qualification and alternative sourcing.

Technical Documentation & Validation:

• Author SOPs, Work Instructions and validation protocols for new analytical instrumentation.
• Produce equivalency validation documentation for instrument replacement projects.
• Support implementation of density meters, UV-Visible spectrophotometers and volumetric/coulometric Karl Fischer instrumentation.

Continuous Improvement & Leadership:

• Implemented and validated an automated ICP-OES workflow reducing analytical turnaround time by 25%.
• Designed improvements to laboratory training and formally trained and signed off approximately 80% of new starters using MasterControl.
• Introduced inventory tracking and sample storage improvements, enhancing organisation and efficiency.
• Participated in Gemba walks and continuous improvement initiatives.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Worked closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Procurement and New Product Management to support supplier qualification and specification updates.
• Supported a cross-site analytical investigation with Thermo Fisher's Fair Lawn (USA) facility into raw material quality following process changes.

• Prepared laboratory equipment, chemicals and consumables for research and teaching laboratories.
