• Dancer for 11 years and won many competitions and awards over the years and have learnt many skills including teamwork and determination. I gained lots of confidence through these years of dance and have been able to show my skills in many different ways
• Regularly attend the gym which has given me a healthy physical outlet and teaches me determination and perseverance. it allows me to set myself personal goals and I can complete personal achievements.
• Used to be a swimmer for 5 years and was asked to join the Warrington Warriors swimming team and achieved up to stage 10 by swimming 1 mile in 45 minutes.

I applied for a trip with my college to go to South Africa and got specifically selected to go with my Sport class from both years where we volunteered in different schools in Cape Town for 2 weeks and created sports activities, drills and games with the kids to provide a sporting outlet for the schools who don't have the funding to provide PE in the curriculum anymore. We played football, netball, basketball and more, and even just played sporting games or drills with them. This enhanced my communication skills as I had to teach the children how to play sports even when they didn't understand English very well. It also improved my team work skills as I was working with other people from my college to come up with games or drills that we taught the children and had to come up with different ideas each time so it didn't get repetitive for the students. It also allowed me to develop my coaching and mentoring skills and also taught me patience and determination whilst working in the schools.
