I am a dedicated scientist that is currently working within AstraZeneca's Translational Pathology group in Cambridge, UK. My passion for advancing medical research, especially in oncology, drives my commitment to the field. I specialize in managing human biological samples, including FFPE TMA, xenografts/PDXs, and cell pellets. I am expert in microtome-based sectioning and IHC staining using automated systems, like Ventana Roche. My knowledge with image analysis through the HALO platform and building AI algorithms complements my expertise in cell culture and molecular biology techniques. During my MSc in Pharmaceutical Science at Anglia Ruskin University, I assessed the cytotoxic effects of anti-inflammatory drugs on colorectal cancer cells, reflecting my enthusiasm for tackling complex scientific challenges. I am particularly enthusiastic about the possibiliy to investigate cancer through different points of view within this research project.
