Chavasse ward
On chavasse ward we care for patients with conditions such as MS, Parkinsons, Motor Neurone Disease, Myasthenia Gravis, Deep Brain Stimulators and Spinal Cord Stimulators. We also look after patients with epilepsy and during the week we have telemetry. Video telemetry is a diagnostic procedure used to monitor and record a patient's brain activity and behavior simultaneously. It involves placing electrodes on the patient's scalp to measure electrical signals in the brain (EEG) while recording their behavior on video. Video telemetry is commonly used in the evaluation and diagnosis of epilepsy and other seizure disorders. It helps healthcare providers identify the type of seizure, determine the appropriate treatment, and evaluate its effectiveness.

Inserted a Nasogastric tube feeding on a patient, completed a NG feed regime and administered medication via NG tube Feed.
