I was responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, organisation and hygiene of hotel rooms and designated areas, guaranteeing comfort, safety and well-being for guests. My main duties included cleaning and servicing rooms after check-out or during guests’ stays, changing bed linen and towels, replenishing amenities, disposing of waste, and checking the overall condition of rooms, reporting any maintenance issues to supervision.

I was responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality, presentation and excellence in customer service. My duties included preparing cocktails, serving beers, wines and other drinks, as well as providing direct customer service at the bar. I was also responsible for keeping the bar clean, organised and fully stocked, monitoring beverage stock levels, complying with hygiene and food safety regulations, and operating the till when required.

I was responsible for welcoming and assisting customers, providing information about products, promotions and available services. I recorded orders, issued invoices, organised queues and service areas, assisted communication between customers and the sales or meat-cutting team, and ensured the cleanliness and organisation of the counter and reception area.

I was responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods and products, ensuring deliveries were carried out in accordance with the company’s quality standards and deadlines. I worked directly in logistics, acting as the main point of contact between the company and customers, providing courteous and efficient service. I drove company vehicles safely and responsibly, following traffic regulations, carried out deliveries and collections according to the assigned routes, maintained delivery records, documentation and trip reports, performed basic vehicle maintenance, checking fuel, cleanliness and overall condition, and ensured proper handling and transportation of products to prevent damage or loss.

It was a team-based role in which we safely transported high-value cinema projectors to various cinemas across the UK. We handled the removal of old projectors and the installation of new ones, ensuring the integrity of the equipment. Long journeys were undertaken with the team in a van, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

Carry out deliveries and collections of parts from shops, workshops, distributors and end customers;
Check delivery notes, invoices, orders and quantities before departure and at the time of delivery;
Organise and transport parts carefully to prevent damage;
Plan routes to optimise time and fuel consumption;
Take care of the maintenance and condition of the motorcycle used for work;
Comply strictly with traffic laws and safety regulations;
Maintain contact with the company to report completed deliveries and any possible issues.
