Key Achievements:

  • Successfully completed the National Citizen Service (NCS) programme in 2018, a youth development initiative that helps young people build skills for the future through community and residential activities. The programme encouraged personal development, leadership, teamwork, and social responsibility, and I participated in a range of activities designed to challenge and build key life skills.
  • Collaborated with a team of 10 students during my study year abroad in Vietnam to deliver a live, hour-long presentation in Japanese on "Preserving Heritage Sites in a Developing City" to a panel of Japanese students and teachers, incorporating interactive activities to engage the audience.
  • Worked with a group of 11 students during my final year dissertation on visually Evoked Auditory Responses (vEAR), each focusing on different variables (e.g., caffeine and nicotine), to conduct data collection and analysis, contributing to a collective study and individual dissertation results.
  • Used SPSS to input and analyse participant data for my dissertation, producing valid, detailed, and conclusive results; one of three team members to utilise the software for data analysis.
  • Converted raw data from participant tests in my dissertation into a structured format in Excel before transferring it to SPSS, ensuring efficient data analysis and preparation for results, with support from our dissertation supervisor.
