A very experienced Ambulance paramedic with approximately 20yrs in the Ambulance service, who has also worked on a rapid response car for many years as a solo responder. Obviously having the skills, competence and confidence to deal with stressful situations alone with the ability and empathy to be able to communicate with people under extreme duress and pressured situations. Have worked alongside and mentored numerous staff who have then progressed onto to becoming paramedics. 2008-2012 - Ambulance Technician/Student paramedic working on a double crewed Ambulance and progressing towards paramedic qualification and Health Care Profession registration.

2012 - Gained Diploma in Higher Education in paramedic Science after 1 yr at Liverpool John Moores University and also operational on the road and gained paramedic qualification.

2012 - 2014. Worked on a double crewed Ambulance and mentored a colleague whilst he was working towards his paramedic qualification.

2014 - 2019. Worked on a Rapid response vehicle (RRV) as a solo responder permanently during this period. Also worked on local initiatives on response cars alongside Respiratory consultants and specialists nurses and also Occupational Health Specialists dealing and treating Emergency patients in the community.

Undertook Observer days working with the Helicopter Emergency Services (HEMS) alongside Advanced paramedics and Doctors

2019 - present. Working on a double crewed Ambulance and again mentoring EMTs and student paramedics and who are progressing towards their qualification.

Owner Operator of a specialist carpet & upholstery cleaning business.

Took this business on whilst my children were young to allow flexibility of working for myself and my wife to allow ease of childcare.

Undertook all roles consistent with an Emergency medical technician who was also progressing to paramedic qualification - responding to Emergencies in the community and job specs as below and others.

Worked initially as a Leisure Club fitness instructor responsible for the day to day running of a Hotel Leisure Club. Job role involved performing fitness assessments, writing exercise programmes for clients and taking them through the programmes and ensuring safe training techniques. Also responsible for all general club facilities including pool and spa testing and level correction, finances and signing up members, Cleaning duties. I then progressed to Assistant manager of the club and took on training of newer staff and further responsibilities

Undertook extensive and arduous training at the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines. One of the longest and most physically demanding specialist infantry courses in the world and gained the coveted green beret as young man. Then served with 45 Commando Royal Marines.
