  • Responsible for all forward trading that Intergen undertakes.
  • Cover optimsation in prompt dispatch out to hedging strategies in forward season and years. trading UK power, NBP and UKA (previously EUA).
  • Forward book managed has delivered multiple hundreds of millions in all years and major contributor to recent record EBITDA years.
  • Originating and closing high value (>£100m) structured contract deals with counterparties, including options, VPPs and longer term tolls, as well as bespoke bilateral trades.
  • Overseeing work of junior traders and analysts as well as twenty four month graduate program.
  • Setting up multiple DMA (Direct Market Access) agreements and on boarded number of counterparties to increase route to market options
  • Embedding new ETRM systems and their constant evolution to fit changing requirements and book structures of the business
  • Actively communicate across company up to CEO level, representing trading and commercial team on role of trading and its performance
  • Work closely with Finance and Compliance teams to ensure culture of corporate responsibility has been created,
