Summary

I am a dedicated and patient-centred General Practice trainee with a tentative CCT date of December 2026 and over seven years of combined primary care experience gained in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom. Throughout my career, I have developed strong clinical, communication, and decision-making skills while managing a broad range of acute and chronic conditions across diverse patient populations. My experience working within different healthcare systems has strengthened my adaptability, cultural awareness, and ability to deliver high quality, evidence-based care in a variety of clinical settings.
I am passionate about providing holistic, compassionate care and building meaningful relationships with patients, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams. Alongside my clinical expertise, I have a strong commitment to continuous professional development, quality improvement, and maintaining the highest standards of patient safety. As I approach completion of my GP training, I am seeking an opportunity within a forward-thinking practice where I can contribute my experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to excellent primary care while continuing to grow professionally.

Teaching

During the 10 years of my practice, I've had opportunity to teach both formally and informally in every post held. I have had opportunity to teach Medical students, junior colleagues and nursing staff.

Training courses attended

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Resuscitation council UK, 2022
  • Basic Life Support - Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn, 2026
  • Leadership and Management in Health - University of Washington, Seattle, 2018
  • Global Adolescent Health - University of Melbourne, 2018
  • Implementation Research with a focus on Infectious Diseases of Poverty - WHO Special program for Research and training in Tropical Diseases, 2018

Change management

Satin Initiation and monitoring

  • Date: 2026-05-21
  • Aim & measure of the change: The aim was to evaluate the compliance with the NICE guideline recommendation to have LFT/Full lipid profile tests at initiation and 2-3 months after.
  • Conclusions/Actions: Initial audit showed poor compliance (15%), mainly due to inadequate documentation and underutilisation of the recall template. Findings were shared with staff and the practice recall system was reinforced. A re-audit three months later demonstrated significant improvement, with compliance increasing to 80%.
