Hwan-Hee Kim

An accomplished, internationally educated collaborative pianist and current PhD researcher at the Royal Northern College of Music. Demonstrates a strong foundation in classical piano performance and pedagogy, with a wealth of experience providing sensitive, adaptable accompaniment for large-scale choral ensembles, church choirs, and symphony orchestras under the direction of resident and guest conductors. Lecture-Recital and Masterclass

• Presented a career development seminar and piano masterclass for undergraduate piano performance students at the University of the Philippines in March 2025, offering strategic guidance on career planning and international study opportunities.
• Presented a lecture-recital and public masterclasses for young pianists at the 16th World Piano Conference in Novi Sad, Serbia in May 2024, upon the recommendation of Dr. Dorian Leljak, President of World Piano Teacher Association (WPTA) and Professor at the Royal College of Music, London.

I frequently perform solo recitals covering a diverse repertoire ranging from Baroque to Contemporary, highlighting my technical mastery and interpretative depth. I feel that I am established as an accomplished pianist on the international stage, with performances in public concerts across the Philippines, Hungary, Russia, Georgia, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Serbia, and the United Kingdom.

• Featured artist for the ‘New Korean Talents’ Series Finale at the Korean Cultural Centre UK in 2025.
• Winner of the XV Art Duo International Music Festival Piano Competition in Prague, with a special performance as the Gala Concert Winner at the Antonín Dvořák Museum in 2019.
• Invited as a featured young pianist to perform works by Filipino composers in a special concert at the Rizal Park open-air Auditorium, commemorating Philippine Independence Day.
