Four years of Women’s Studies allowed me to perceive and express more gender-based inequalities and strategies. As a proud, potential, and creative woman, I am glad that I can study at the University of Edinburgh and major in Sociology and Global Change to explore more intersectional theories related to gender, development, and environment and apply quantitative analysis and computational text analysis to identify the biases and problems that may exist in public discourses, and more usefully capture the public’s concerns and needs in specific areas. As I learned more about data analysis, I found my passion in learning new technologies and researching any new possible solutions to address variant problems, taking risks and challenges, and love uncertainties
