Completed a one-week rotational internship across multiple practice areas in both the London and Cambridge offices, gaining exposure to a broad range of commercial legal work.

• Banking & Finance: Reviewed key transactional documents, including board minutes, share purchase agreements, and receivables financing arrangements, developing an understanding of financing structures.
• Commercial & Technology: Attended client meetings concerning the negotiation of leasing and property management contracts, and conducted research into the commercial implications of the EU Data Act (2025), particularly the impact of interoperability requirements on SaaS business models.
• Corporate: Participated in weekly team meetings, analysing transaction progress and discussing current legal affairs and their commercial implications.
• Intellectual Property: Gained insight into various forms of IP protection, including patents and design rights, as well as infringement risks and available remedies. Observed the process of seeking interim injunctions and the subsequent negotiation strategies.
