- Carried out a project on identifying the role of the Nuclear Mitotic Apparatus protein in maintaining DNA integrity.
- Used FKBP12F36V-dTAG and tetracycline-inducible KO system to perform NuMA KO.
- Performed alkaline comet assay and immunofluorescence targeting Gamma H2AX to assess the levels of DNA single-strand and double-strand breaks in the absence of NuMA.
- Carried out western blotting to examine the difference in the levels of P53 and phosphorylated P53 in WT and NuMA KO cells.
- Performed qPCR to identify the effect of NuMA absence on the levels of cell senescence factors P21 and P16.
- Presented a poster on this project during the Lister Annual meeting.
