Work History

Farm assistant

Jamie
Turriff, Aberdeenshire
03.2023 - 04.2023

I mainly assisted with lambing. However, I was able to gain valuble teamwork skills by working with other assistances and the main farmer. A large part of my job was also to be patient and on high alert to watch out for any lambing sheep and I was able to transfere these skills to off the farm. I also learnt how to be well organised as we had to pen sheep into groups to be efficent. In addition, I also built my time management skills as it was important to feed the sheep at specific intervals and too look after them. Many lambs were taken care of and fed even though some were resiliant but that in tern only built my resiliance and determination to succeed.
