Summary
I am currently working as a Pipe Fitter on Dreadnought, however I have worked on various builds within the defence sector for numerous years. I have experience working at vastly different stages of build from working dockside on boat 6 to reducing the number of ‘Teco Packs' on Dreadnought.
I am an enthusiastic individual, keen and quick to learn. I enjoy fault finding and problem solving and I always strive for excellence. I am confident working in groups cohesively however I am equally as efficient working individually.

- Qualified Pipe Fitter, with experience of working within different areas of fitting and fabricating
- Extensive experience working with engineering drawings
- Working closely with DTO (Dockside Test Organisation) to ensure test paths are handed over at the correct time in the plan. Additionally, working alongside the Navy on live systems following RIP OUT/TAG OUT systems of work.
- Working alongside the quality department on first level items to ensure the correct processes and standards are followed at all times during build.
- Identify and raise issues on work orders. Reporting to my team leader and suggesting an appropriate solution to progress the work order as far as possible until the issue is resolved.
- Recently have been working on the 100% TECO team closing out all remaining TECO packs in order to conform with the onsite LRQA assessment.

- I continuously look for improvements I could make as a pipe fitter. One of my ideas was to start clips being sent to be painted straight from stores. To save time on the production. This has been taken away and implemented now throughout the shop floor.

- Working with apprentices to train them on the multiple systems leading by example, helping them gaining relevant competencies and supporting evidence.
