I'm looking for a part time job to dedicate my time to whilst being a student at Loughborough University and I can be flexible with times.
This role involves pre-pouring pints and serving them to guests at stadiums during games. Through this role I've been able to work at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, O2, Harlequins and Twickenham Stadium.
I've learned stress management and teamwork during this role but have shifts a lot less as I'm at University now.
For this work experience I spent a week getting a taste for privacy and deformation crimes by reading through complex legal documents from previous cases. I gained an understanding of how past cases inform current legal practice. This improved my analytical and critical reading skills through case analysis, and I got to experience and uphold confidentiality through NDA's.
For this work experience role I spent the week of the 2023 Ashes as a server and waitress in the ECB Chairman's box at Lord's Cricket Ground. I greated guests at the door and help set up and host hospitality after parties at Lord's.
I learnt time management skills and stress management when it got busy. I found it daunting at first but overcame my nerves.
During cricket matches I had experience in fundraising and campaigned for the Ruth Strauss Foundation. We worked as a team to sell 'Red for Ruth' products and came up with creative ways to sell the products for highest amounts by targeting hospitality boxes and holding fun auctions for charity.
During this week of work experience I was allocated a few specific jobs with finalising guest lists, replying to emails and redesigning decorations for Soho House Festival. I then worked at the Soho House Festival on the door for this company, signing clients in.
I learned a lot about the workplace and the increase in freedom compared to a school environment.
