Having worked in the Scottish Spirits Industry as Distillery Ambassador for over four years, I am an excellent communicator which, coupled with my linguistic skills, allows me to lead and deliver memorable visitor experiences that enrich Scotland's tourism sector. My motivation for pursuing this course is to expand upon my existing knowledge and enrich my capabilities so as to better permit me to contribute to and build Scotland's Tourism Industry.

I am a proud academic who has thrived during my University career through setting clear objectives such as striving for a First-Class Honours degree.  My Dissertation explores the impact of whisky tourism on the Isle of Islay, Scotland, which requires the following skills:

  • Strategic preparation and implementation of industry related academic theories; Stakeholder relationships and Globalisation.
  • Leadership, motivation and resilience.

 I demonstrated valuable and quality individual leadership skills through my ability to take initiative, plan, coordinate and fulfil a ten-week work placement.
