Skills
During my time at school, I have been involved in a number of activities that have enabled me to grow a number of skills
I was in the top sets for all of my subjects, demonstrating my conscientious nature and intelligence and I also have a creative skill set, this is shown through my choice to study GCSEs in Music and I-media
Studying these two subjects has enabled me to hone my confidence (through musical performances) and build positive relationships with others I feel that I have excellent interpersonal skills and am able to support others within a professional environment This was practised further during my work experience placement in a primary school setting During my time there, I was able to help the teacher conduct her classroom As well as this, I provided one on one support to the pupils, during creative tasks, using various methods, therefore demonstrating my resourceful nature
My study of Maths and Science has enabled me to develop strong problem solving skills, resilience and to keep calm under pressure
Through my History and English GCSEs, I have improved my memory as it was my responsibility to memorise the historical facts and details from specified texts These subjects also allowed for the improvement of my communication skills, which were required in the composition and writing of detailed essays, that showcased my knowledge
I am currently awaiting my GCSE results but am anticipating grade 7s in all subjects The next step of my educational journey is to attend Lichfield College, where I will be studying a T Level course in Musical Performance
I am looking forward to further developing my skills in the areas that I have listed but also to taking part in new professional experiences and developing new interchangeable skills in the world of work
My positivity was acknowledged during the last few days of school, as I was awarded with the 'Little Miss Sunshine' award for my year group, proving that even during stressful situations, I am able to keep a positive attitude and up lift others
