Summary

Throughout both high school and university, I have developed a strong passion for sport and working with children, which has inspired me to pursue a career with Active Schools once I graduate.

My enthusiasm for promoting physical activity is rooted in my own background as a competitive gymnast for 12 years, and I continue to stay involved in sport as a member of my university cheerleading team.

I have gained valuable experience through volunteering at various multi-sport camps and supporting school sports events, which has given me insight into the positive impact that accessible, engaging sport can have on young people.

In addition to my volunteer work, I currently teach swimming and coach gymnastics, roles that have strengthened my communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

Within my swimming teacher role I also deliver classes and 1 to 1 classes to kids with additional support needs.

I am passionate about creating inclusive, fun, and motivating environments for children to be active and build confidence through sport.
