This program was funded by DIFID, Sequa, and DANIDA and managed by British Council. This project was the long-term growth and development of the Myanmar Garment Industry in line with International standards and best practices and Pyoe Pin acts as a facilitator role among other developing partners.

  • liaising between Myanmar Garment Manufacturers’ Association, respective Government Ministries, and Pyoe Pin to build mutual understanding and trust in order to implement the project plan effectively within a timeline.
  • Engaged with local and International stakeholders in Myanmar including brands, local and international NGOs, and others to understand their development priorities in relation to the industry. Coordinate between brand representatives and other stakeholders to explore options for collaboration and shared lesson learning.
  • In collaboration with industry stakeholders and developed a 10-year strategy for the Myanmar Garment Industry in 2016.
