
I have over 21 years’ experience in office administration. I am proficient in various Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and also well versed in the use of Lotus/IBM Notes and Google Suite. In addition, I have had experience in using document management sites including BIM360, Sharepoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Conject and 4Projects. I also have experience of using bespoke systems and have good technical knowledge and IT proficiency. I am very organised and detail oriented and am used to a very busy workload, managing a variety of tasks at once. I am able to work autonomously and I always approach my work with a very flexible, enthusiastic and ‘can do’ attitude, and I like to assist in any way I can, whether it be part of my normal duties or not, and this is something that I have always been praised for at staff reviews. I am very sociable and able to work well as part of a team and have enjoyed working with colleagues at all levels of the business in the companies have worked with. Being the sole administrator in my most recent role, it was important for me to build relationships with the rest of the team and provide them with the high level of administrative support that they require and expect. I believe I am also able to build good relationships with Clients/visitors/external parties. I have experience of being first point of contact for people either telephoning or coming into the office and, quite often dealing with the same people regularly, I find I am able to build up a good rapport with them.
I have also recently completed ISO 14001 Internal Auditor training.
This role involved supporting the Construction Project Teams predominantly in the production of project documentation such as O&M Manuals. It also involved using NAPIT software to complete Electrical Installation test sheets for projects.
