• Contributed to safety & environmental audits and compliance activities within in-service submarine programmes, supporting assurance and regulatory adherence
• Completed MOD system safety training (System Safety in Action and System Safety Process Management), developing understanding of safety governance, hazard identification, ALARP-based risk management, and safety case principles across the acquisition lifecycle
• Participated in system safety Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) workshops, supporting hazard identification, deviation analysis, and documentation of risk controls
• Developed an Environmental Impacts and Risks Register (EIRR), applying hazard identification and risk evaluation aligned with MoD environmental management system governance
