Currently working for construction company that specialises in steel structures, i.e. Agricultural and Equestrian structures.

• Producing detailed base plan and elevation drawings.
• Managing customer calls every day.

• Completed 10-month placement at a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy primarily focused on the design of new-build estates.
• Predominantly worked within the civil engineering team, designing external works and residential drainage systems. This included roads, drainage systems for surface water and foul water, footpaths, and landscaping.
• Gained experience in AutoCAD producing detailed drawings.
• Spent part of placement in the structural engineering team producing foundation plans and calculating line loads from superstructures.
• Contributed to the design of steel and timber beams, gaining valuable insight into structural analysis, load paths and material properties.
