I'm a second year electrical and electronic engineering student at the University of Bath. I have gained a lot of experience in the drone field over the past nine years. And was the captain of my high school's varsity aeromodelling team between the years 2018-2021. I have gained a comprehensive understanding of modelling through numerous modelling projects, including PCB board assembly and repair. My dedication to FPV drone and model glider competitions has resulted in numerous national awards and significant achievements.
During the first project week, we were assigned a highly challenging task: to build a wind turbine. The purpose of this project week is to assemble a wind turbine using the provided gear sets and fan blades of different angles and sizes, and to record the data using an oscilloscope and visualize the data using MATLAB to understand which fan can obtain the most energy. On the first day, we will assemble the mechanical parts of the wind turbine, and on the second day, we will connect the motor on the wind turbine to an oscilloscope to read the voltage generated. After obtaining the voltage readings, we will use MATLAB for data analysis to visualize the data.
In this project week, our goal is to design an escape room. All the contents of this project were designed by ourselves, including CAD drawing, 3D printing, and Arduino programming. I participated in the design of the second puzzle, which was connected to the Arduino through LED bulbs and switches and programmed so that the task would be considered successful only when all the LEDs were lit.
In this Project we aim to create a modular side-illuminated display device. With this we have used LEDs displaying it on to a acrylic. We would use skill such as creating the circuit, designing the PCB, assembling the PCB, Programming in Arduino and testing. We have build a final outcome of 4 different images of the weather icons with it updates every second with the weather at university of bath. We as a team have gained knowledge at how to use multiple libraries within Arduino. For the skills needed to complete this project we would be able to build most other similar projects such as anything that would use a API key or other small gadgets doesn’t contain complex circuits.
