Projects

M.Sc. Dissertation, Occurrence of imipenem and silver resistance in Aeromonas species recovered from various sources., The spread of antibiotic and metal resistances in pathogenic bacteria has been recognized by the WHO as a serious problem that complicates medical treatment of bacterial infections. Drug and metal resistance characters in emerging pathogens such as Aeromonas is of great concern in public health point of view. My project work investigates the prevalence of Aeromonas sp. which shows Imipenem resistance, production of β lactamases as well as silver resistance obtained from various sources.
