I was required to select and scan items according to computerised instructions. I then packed these products correctly and safely ready to be dispatched. It was vital that I worked efficiently in order to meet my targets.

I took time off to nurture and provide care for my 4 young children. During this time I was able to support their school work and hobbies alongside all that is involved in maintaining a household.

I also had the opportunity to do many home improvements and learn new skills along the way. I was able to organize the family's social events and appointments as well as keeping to a household budget.

When all the children had reached school age, I supported my husband in his businesses. I had the opportunity to work in a fast paced takeaway, where I prepared and cooked food adhering to the relevant health and hygiene rules. I also gained lots of experience in customer service and cash handling.

After this, I worked as a shop assistant in our family business. With this job I had the opportunity to improve my customer relation and sales skills.

I delivered quality eye care services and was able to build patient loyalty. I assisted patients with spectacle selections to suit their individual requirements. I worked as part of a team, taking part in staff meetings and working closely with optometrists to ensure all the needs of the patients were met. I resolved patient queries effectively to ensure a smooth experience for all.
