Heather Wilson

Throughout my time at Parkside school, I delivered engaging lessons across science, health and social care, technology, and PE. I was responsible for running the health and social care curriculum including developing tailored schemes of work to meet curriculum requirements and SEND needs and assessing student progress through coursework and examinations. I always provided constructive feedback for continuous improvement and regularly adjusted teaching methods to accommodate individual learning needs, ensuring inclusivity.

I also taught in the technology department, specialising in cooking and nutrition. I have a current food hygiene certificate and DATA training. I left this role in order to take "flexi retirement."

I taught science at key Stage 3 and 4 and maths at key stage 3. I also taught Chemistry to A level.
