Heather Roche

I completed my work experience placement at Swarthmore Education Centre where I assisted in various departments and successfully followed a variety of engaging tasks. For example, helping in an art session for new Ukrainian students and completing many marketing tasks, like creating posters and displays for the college. This placement helped me gain lots of confidence and experience within a professional work space.

Additionally, I have also volunteered at a local charity shop where I worked at the counter, speaking to customers and dealing with cash transactions. Similarly, I have also worked at various stalls at craft fairs contributing to selling items.

At my old dance studio I also assisted in teaching children’s dance lessons every week, which displays my ability to communicate well with others.
