Summary

I am a BA (Hons) and MLitt graduate from Queen Margaret and Strathclyde University with fifteen years Scottish Fire Service experience, including skills gained in operational, administrative, and management roles. Completed an HNC in Horticulture in 2014 and worked in plant production, sales, and retail before lecturing in Horticulture at SRUC Elmwood College, where I gained a qualification in teaching (Pg Cert TQFE). Since leaving Elmwood, I have worked in retail with Asda, in both replenishment and currently as an optical assistant. I love teaching and mentoring others and am passionate about FE and the transformative effects it can have. I am a people person, developing my people skills over many years of working with students, customers, and members of the public.
