I worked for the Bristol Baptist College for the last 23 years, but was made redundant because of a restructuring of the College Administration team at the end of August. During my time there I answered the door to all visitors, dealt incoming and outgoing post. I ordered and made sure that lunches were delivered for the students, and that rooms were booked when we had visiting people using the building. I also managed the keyfob access to the building and made sure that the maintenance work wa booked and carried out with all the tradesmen. I organised ordering stationary and cleaning supplies. I did photocopying as required, and typed letters for members of staff as needed. I kept the noticeboards up to date and issued a weekly newsletter to all current students and staff. I also looked after the College Alumni and organised a Community Day annually for them. I also collated, arranged for printing and sent out a six monthly College Magazine for all Baptist Churches, students and alumni. During my time at College I used Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and managed the College Database. I have the right to work here in the UK. I am very happy to work in person at the Redland office for 22.5 hours a week. Yes, as you can see, I worked for the Bristol Baptist College for 23 years and have a great deal of experience working for an interacting with a church.
