Having had the rewarding experience of living with someone with disabilities I am passionate about ensuring empowerment to ensure a full and as independent life as possible.

I have personal experience of using Direct Payments as a carer and first hand knowledge of Disability Rights which I used to ensure I accessed the optimum care and support required. I also understand the need for clarity in advice and on going support to enable appropriate Direct Payments which meet need.

I work well under pressure, as a Moderator for an exam board, I have tight schedules, write comprehensive reports which are informative and empathetic to clients needs.

In my teaching career I have great empathy for the students, parents and colleagues and work well as part of a team. I am resilient, hard working and love new challenges. I love working with people and making a difference to their lives is what drives me.

Throughout my career I have used effective and innovative communication techniques to engage and inform others. I have excellent communication skills and a wide knowledge of IT from teaching, tutoring and examination moderation.

I love working with people and am a friendly and happy colleague but am also happy working independently.
