I am a mother of 2, one of which has additional needs so I am familiar with taking on challenges. I am a very patient and considerate person but maintain a positive, enthusiastic outlook in all I do. I am currently at the beginning of a counselling course at Nescot college and look forward to using my knowledge in employment and generally. On Wednesdays I attend a local youth club with my children and work closely with other families from the same area. We do activities and sports, whilst building new relationships and getting to know one another, something which I love to do.

I left my job at Priory court care home on maternity leave when I was pregnant with my 1st son. I remained unemployed, taking on the role of full time parent. I then fell pregnant shortly after my sons 3rd birthday, and only returned back to part time work as a babysitter just after having my 2nd son. I decided to eventually give up babysitting to give my youngest child my full attention and support as his communication was very delayed and I had some concerns with his overall development. Since he started nursery twice a week and is regularly seen by speech and language therapists, doctors and paediatricians, I now feel comfortable and confident in returning to work.
