After stepping away from direct care on acute hospital wards just before the pandemic hit to care for my mum, I have been working for the Ambulance Service in logistics, planning non emergency transport for patients across the county. I have always enjoyed working in a patient facing role & have missed providing care & support to patients.
I currently work shifts & regularly have 4 days off at a time, I am now looking to get back to patient care in a bank/ad-hoc type role.
After working for the Ambulance Service for the last 3+ years I strongly believe in excellent social care provisions and believe I can help make a difference to patients living in a care home or after recently being discharged from hospital.
I have experience of working with patients with mental health issues, challenging behavior & various medical diagnosis.
