This role consists of the cleaning of all clinical and non-clinical areas to a very high standard including reception area, theatre, scrub sink, kitchens, toilets, changing rooms and offices. This role also includes organising stock, organising the scrubs, taking out the clinical waste and keeping on top of my E-learning. This has always been my extra job in the evenings as a bank worker alongside working in the daytime too.
Planning and leading activities for the children and documenting their development on appropriate software. During my employment at the Little Lions Nursery, I have experienced working with children with Special Educational Needs such as Autism, ADHD, Downs Syndrome and also children with behavioural difficulties and have experience of working alongside other professionals to meet the needs of the children. As part of my Deputy Manager role, I worked closely with my manager to assist with the running of the nursery such as opening and closing the nursery, leading staff meetings, supervisions and appraisals, answering phone calls, communicating everyday with parents and signing new families up to the nursery and keeping on top of filling and record keeping.
