Structural Engineer with a strong technical background and experience delivering complex international projects across various design stages. Experienced in working with different international design standards and multidisciplinary teams. Reliable, responsible, and adaptable, with a practical and analytical approach to engineering design.
Joined the project during the schematic design phase, working on the main terminal building and pier structures, which consisted of reinforced concrete buildings with steel shell arch roofs. Focused primarily on coordination with architects and other disciplines. Regularly reviewed and marked up structural plan revisions in response to architectural changes, maintaining close coordination with the architectural team. Assisted in drawing production and ensured the timely submission of the drawings.
In terms of structural analysis, mainly carried out beam and slab design, composite column design, and retaining wall design.
Worked during the competition and early concept design phases on multiple structural schemes for a two-storey residential building featuring a free-form shell roof. Performed seismic analysis in accordance with ASCE, ACI, and AISC design codes and established preliminary member sizing based on analysis results. Coordinated closely with architects, providing structural input to guide initial layout and dimensional decisions.
Started during the schematic design phase and continuing into the detailed design stage. The project primarily consists of typical 3–4 storey buildings alongside several structurally unique buildings.
My main focus has been a non-typical 7-storey reinforced concrete office building, as well a steel structure including a long-span, double-height conference hall, site-wide link bridges, retaining walls, and foundations.
Additionally, my role has been flexible, providing support within the structural team where required. Other responsibilities included coordination with other disciplines for the structures I worked on, weekly review and updating of the Revit model to reflect design changes, and assisting in checking and producing structural drawings.
Joined the project during the construction phase and worked on the structural floor framing of the congress center. Provided construction detailing for beams and slabs and assisted in the preparation of construction drawings for all floor/beam elements, ensuring compliance with code-based detailing requirements.
Joined the project during the detailed design phase, developed structural analysis models, and carried out seismic design and member verification for four hotel buildings of 4–5 storeys. Prepared detailed reinforcement schedules for foundations, shear walls, and columns.
Developed structural analysis models for three residential buildings of 5–6 storeys using CSI Perform-3D software. Defined nonlinear PMM hinges for beams and columns, modeled fiber elements for shear walls, and assigned elastic hinges to capture shear behaviour. Prepared the models as ready for nonlinear time history analysis.
Conducted structural assessment of all buildings within a factory complex comprising seven structures. The building stock included a mix of precast concrete, masonry, and steel structures, including crane-supporting beams. Evaluated structural adequacy and performance across different structural systems and materials.
The project comprises a 68,060 m² enclosed area and a 6,300 m² open courtyard. The mosque features a 63 m diameter main dome with a height of 83 m. The structural system consists primarily of structural steel with reinforced concrete shear walls providing lateral stability. Involved in the project from the detailed design stage onward.
As a Graduate Structural Engineer, I performed steel member design checks in accordance with SNIP/Russian Standards, designed steel connections for the dome structures, prepared structural drawings, and produced calculation reports.
The project is a high-rise reinforced concrete shear wall building with a total construction area of 93,500 m² and was in the construction phase during my involvement. As a Graduate Structural Engineer, I verified structural members in accordance with Eurocode requirements, designed steel connections, prepared technical documentation, responded to site RFIs, and developed practical engineering solutions to construction-related issues.
The project consists of two high-rise reinforced concrete buildings (one office and one residential tower) and a mid-rise office building, with a total construction area of 100,000 m². I worked as a Lead Structural Engineer on the project from concept through detailed design. I was responsible for the structural design of all buildings under the continuous review of a senior structural engineer. The structural systems consisted of special reinforced concrete shear walls, including both coupled and non-coupled wall systems. I actively participated in peer review meetings and coordinated closely with architects and other engineering disciplines.
Conducted a seismic performance assessment of a 9-story office building with a unique structural system not covered by the seismic code. Performed Nonlinear Time History Analysis using Perform-3D software.
The project is a mixed-use building complex with a total construction area of 512,000 m², comprising 16 buildings of approximately 20 stories each. My responsibilities included modelling seven superstructures and the shared podium structures in CSI ETABS, performing seismic analysis, and designing special reinforced concrete shear walls and columns.
Responsible for the structural design of three single-story industrial-type steel buildings, including connection design, in accordance with ASCE and AISC standards. The lateral load-resisting system consisted of ordinary moment frames in one direction and concentrically braced frames in the other direction.
Seismic performance evaluation of a two-story reinforced concrete residential building with a moment-resisting frame system. Performed nonlinear static pushover analysis using CSI ETABS software.
Involved in several short-term assignments, including Vakifbank Towers, Adilbrahim Medicine Factory, Astay Bodrum Hotel Project, Gobeklitepe Steel Roof, Sarıyer Villa Development etc.
