After completing my A-level exams, I began the British Army Officer Internship, beginning with intensive training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where I successfully earned my Reserve Commission. As one of only seven candidates selected for this prestigious program, I was then commissioned into the Royal Artillery. Within the regiment, my focus was largely on the use of medium-range UAS, with deployments in the UK, USA, and a month-long exercise in Estonia. This challenging year was instrumental in developing my leadership, aptitude, and physical fitness in diverse and demanding international environments. After completing my A-level exams, I gained valuable experience as a waiter and bartender, a demanding role I balanced with my preparation for officer training at Sandhurst. As a waiter, I delivered high-quality customer service and managed a fast-paced environment, while my time as a bartender honed my multitasking and problem-solving skills. This experience not only showcased my commitment and dedication but also enhanced my leadership, teamwork, and communication abilities, which are essential for my future career.

Working as a waiter, I took on the usual responsibilities of the role, but I was also entrusted with running the pub's entire upstairs floor. At just 17, this gave me a huge amount of early experience and opportunity in leadership and problem-solving, as I had to manage the flow of service, coordinate with the kitchen, and oversee the team.
