My role as a bartender required me to enforce responsible alcohol service policies, prioritised customer safety and wellbeing. As head bartender I often ran the bar on my own, as well as taking on the responsibilities of closing and cashing up.
As a lifeguard working in the States I had to complete my American Red Cross training certificate. This allowed me to carry out daily operational checks of equipment for optimal performance, and assist swimmers of all ages in distress, preventing potential accidents.

I have been working in the hospitality industry since 2018 for multiple different employees:
- The Old Barn Esholt (2018-2020), this is a wedding venue where I served drinks and food.
- The Malt Shovel (2020), a pub in my local town where I worked as a bartender
- The Boat House Inn (2024), a local bar/restaurant working as front of house staff.
All of these jobs helped build my customer service skills and overall employability.
