Dedicated beach lifeguard with three seasons of experience, including two successful RNLI lifeguard seasons in Cornwall. Proficient in monitoring busy beaches, performing rescues, administering first aid, and collaborating effectively within a professional team under challenging surf conditions. Committed to beach safety and personal fitness, with a focus on continuous skill development. Planning to spend time in New Zealand to join Surf Life Saving New Zealand and actively participate in surf lifesaving sport to enhance skills and contribute to the job. I will be training with Mt Maunganui Surf Club for the duration of the season for fitness purposes and to compete with the club, this will allow me to better my knowledge of the area and communication as I will be talking and training with seasoned lifeguards.
Sport: I am very enthusiastic about Surf Life Saving, competing in County and National competitions for Portreath Surf life Saving Club and I am committed to train regularly to better my results and fitness levels. I have achieved national medals for beach events in both open and youth categories but personal best was 2nd in flags at open nationals, I have also represented my county a few times which was a great experience that i enjoyed.
Education: I have recently finished college education with the prospect of going to university and have been given an offer to study Geology at Durham University.
